  1. Tools to know long range weather prediction accuracy (3 day 5 day 7 day or longer) of each source.

As an engineer-nerd I had been told once that due to the complex nature of weather variables that predictions of over 3 days (or maybe he said 5 days) where simply no better and would never be better then rolling dice/guessing. Now I have never investigated this and would love to know based on analysis of each of your sources(looking back) how much "faith" say I could put in planning a weekend party; say should I wait till Thurs because it has been %95 accurate vs say %25 if I used my Tues info. to plan. Now rain/light rain/ or…

We intend to add some form of analysis of the forecasting accuracy and provide that information in some form – precisely what and how is still up in the air.

    • Show a separate temperature line including windchill

Windchill seriously alters the temperature. Have a second line, perhaps in purple or dashed blue, showing the effective temperature incorporating windchill.

        • NWS Storm Alerts

Severe weather/storm notifications is the one feature missing from Weather Spark.

This is the ONLY reason I continue to visit other weather sites as a supplement to WeatherSpark.

Please consider including a warning indicator for sever weather, allowing the user to click on this indicator (or hover over it) to see more detail regarding the severe weather alert issued by the National Weather Service.

          • ...have access to table of daily historical snowfall and rainfall data

How much snow DID we get each day og the past 6 months? Simple table of data or graph options would be fine too.

            • Print

A print option would be nice to make it easier to run a paper copy of the current forecast

              • Add the ability to easily jump to a specific date

Say I want to jump to July 20th 2008, right now I have to use the scroll bar(unless I am missing something) to get there. It would be much easier if I could just type in July 20th 2008 and it would jump to that day

                • On chart display, move data labels.

When mousing to edge of chart, the data label information is hidden. Could you have the labels jump to the other side of the line when they get too close to the edge?

                  • Add wind speed/dir to Forecast tab

When viewing the daily forecast in the "Forecast" tab, allow users to display wind speed and/or direction, similar to the main page. Seeing the wind speed and direction is important when planning running and biking routes.
